For one year all applications will be kept on file. We update our waiting list every fall. You’ll receive a letter asking if you still want to remain on the list for another year.
If you’re on the “READY NOW” list and there haven’t been any changes in the applicant’s health or financial situation, just mark the appropriate box. If there have been some changes, call the front office and you will be sent a copy of your old application along with a blank set of forms to update and return to us. If you’re on the “NOT READY” list, we’ll need an update when you become “READY NOW” and every year after that.
To remain in the current pool of applicants, this notice must be returned to Mary Health’s business office within 30 days. If we don’t hear from you during that period, we’ll assume that Mary Health should no longer consider the person a candidate for admission. The applicant’s file will be removed from our waiting list and destroyed.
It’s very important that you advise Mary Health if you change your address, phone number or admission status during the year. The admission status, in particular, is crucial. If you aren’t quite ready, please circle “NOT READY.” This won’t affect your place on the waiting list because first priority is always given to your original application date. Being on the “NOT READY” list simply means that we won’t call you until we know that you are “READY NOW.”
If you have any questions, or would like to come for a tour, please call our office (805-498-3644). The office is open from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tours take place on Wednesday during scheduled hours only.
